Brazilian designer and developer Juli Scapucin is the creative mind behind Malgosia, a brand focused on clothing with simple, sophisticated silhouettes and a strong attention for textile surface. Using patchwork, embroidery and digital print techniques, she reworks plain traditional fabrics into original and unique fashion outcomes.

Operating on a made-to-order basis, Juli produces each piece manually in her atelier in Amsterdam since 2017. The goal is to keep the creation process as free as possible, so that the boundaries between fashion and visual arts are blurred. At many times that’s a trial and error process, so learning new techniques and refining skills is a daily pursuit.
